Digital Marketing Trends 2023 by Dhananjay Yadav – SEO Expert

With 1.5 billion social media users worldwide, online enterprises or those who have not yet migrated to a digital platform must seize this market.

What trends in digital marketing should you be on the lookout for in 2023? Here are some new trends that will change your future marketing efforts if your marketing team is having trouble finding inspiration or if your present approach has gotten stale.

  1. Data Privacy:

Big data now has a much greater impact on businesses than ever before. However, due to privacy rules in effect all around the world, we have had to adapt the method we collect data.

Businesses being more proactive in acquiring intelligence through various tactics will probably be a hot trend in digital marketing in 2023. For instance, form building might assist in gathering data from yours. For instance, form building can assist in gathering client data that may affect the introduction of your next product or service.

  1. Email marketing

Email marketing is one of the most successful marketing techniques now being used. This tendency will continue through 2023 as 89% of organizations primarily use email marketing to create leads. Since almost everyone has an email address, it is relatively simple for businesses and brands to engage with their customers.

  1. Use of AI Tools in Marketing

Artificial intelligence is being used more and more in digital marketing, and for good reason. Digital marketing initiatives powered by AI have a higher chance of success since they can deliver quicker and more precise insights on consumer behavior. ChatGPT is trending at the moment..

  1. Programmatic Marketing

The process of automating ad buying with AI is called programmatic advertising. Companies get a more dependable and economical answer to their needs by getting rid of humans from the ad-buying process.

  1. Multichannel Advertising

One of the buzzwords of 2020 was omnichannel marketing. The tactic is just as viable and applicable as ever, despite the fact that the phrase may now sound a little dated.

The technique of marketing using several channels, including social media, apps, email, and blog posts, in order to provide a better customer experience and a consistent brand message that increases conversions and brand loyalty.

  1. Marketing based on accounts (ABM)

Account-based marketing is a (usually B2B) marketing tactic that focuses on particular accounts as opposed to a large audience, allowing companies to customize their messaging and forge connections with important decision-makers.

By concentrating on the accounts that have the greatest chance of success, this method also enables organizations to save time and money. ABM also promotes solid customer relationships, which may enhance conversion rates and customer loyalty.

  1. Visual Content Marketing and Visual Search

A new technique called visual search allows users to input images into searches. Although it’s still fairly new, two businesses are using visual search:mn

  1. Google Lens: Google Lens is a visual search engine that uses a camera app to identify items and locations.
  2. Pinterest: With the release of Lens, a visual search tool that enables users to take a photo of an item to find out where to buy it online, search for comparable things, or explore pinboards of related items, Pinterest got on the visual search bandwagon.

8. Analytics using Predictive & Augmented

Data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning are all practices used in predictive analytics to find trends and make future predictions. Because of its potential, it has advanced and spread throughout various industries.

We may anticipate an even greater number of predictive analytics tools and applications, such as improved lead scoring, customer segmentation, and personalisation, in terms of digital marketing trends.

  1. Geo-Fencing

Although targeting customers based on their location is not a novel concept, we do anticipate a surge in the use of geo-fencing, an industry that is anticipated to reach $2.4 billion by 2023.

Real-time targeting based on a user’s location is possible using geo-fencing. A user receives a push notification, text message, or other kinds of marketing communication when they enter or depart a target region, which is defined as, for example, within a mile of a restaurant

Conclusion:

Change is a necessary component of any digital marketer’s profession. To outperform your rivals, you must constantly endeavor to adopt new technology, techniques, and marketing strategies.

Businesses can beat the competition and succeed in 2023 by comprehending and utilizing these marketing techniques now! Good Luck!

Punjab Mandi Board establishes GIS command center with DronaMaps

17th June 2022: The challenge of governance is to ensure that progress reaches the remotest corners of the country. The mandis and the rural link roads connecting them are one of the most crucial assets of the state of Punjab. Historically, it has been a hard and manual process to create an inventory, track the repair, and construction of rural link roads across the state. Not to mention the update of the same records. The overall data creation, and digitization of the physical assets of mandis, and their day-to-day functioning have been difficult to bring online until now.

Punjab Mandi Board has established a GIS Command and Control Center to combat these problems, bringing a framework to the data collection on the ground, with a team of over 300 employees across Punjab, including Joint Engineers, SDOs, and nodal officers trained on the system to maintain statewide consistency.

The Punjab Mandi Board and Department of Governance Reform collaborated with the implementing agency DronaMaps and have already digitised and incorporated 110 Mandis and 24,262 rural link roads in the GIS command center. We are creating a framework where the team on the ground can collaborate on full-motion video feeds from drones to geotag areas that need repair, all on a central command and control center. To this end, with DronaMaps we have established a GIS command center at the Punjab Mandi Board office fostering innovation from within with Indian startups, says IAS Ravi bhagat, Secretary, Punjab Mandi Board.

Jasminder Pal Singh, Head of SeMT((MeitY) for Punjab highlights the objectives of the new system to “provide the department an accurate understanding of the state of roads and mandis. Over the next few months, Punjab Mandi Board plans to integrate this citizen feedback on the status of roads and with the inventory and transactions happening in Mandis as well. In addition, as most data is being collected through drones and mobile phones, it would go through automated screening procedures and manual geotagging to allow supervisors the ability to zero down in which areas the road repair work is happening effectively.”

Ayushi Mishra, COO, DronaMaps, says that “The potential implications of this initiative are far-reaching, Punjab Mandi Board now has a dynamically updating geospatial command center. We are in the process of deploying capabilities like collaboration on drone video feeds to geotag roads in need of repair, visit, enlist, or track inventory in digital twins of Mandis. Thereby, bringing the best of technology, drones, metaverse digital twins, and GIS to the ground and at scale with Punjab Mandi Board”.

Aftaf Ahmad is a social worker. He helps the poor and needy. He donated food, clothes, books, etc. to the poor and needy a few days back. Along with this, he is also a writer. He has also written several articles on the needy and birds.

Aftaf says: When you do something for others, the very moment happiness begins. Does this tree eat its own fruit? No! That’s why these trees preach to a man that you should give your fruits to others. Nature will give you. Those who are sick, lonely, old, helpless. You get satisfaction by helping such people. We should donate our old clothes and old books to poor children. When you take the initiative to help someone. You may have to face many difficulties. But when you appeal to other people to help that helpless person, thousands of helping hands come up. Many such helping hands stand on social media and TV channels. And He also says that along with this we should keep water for the birds and also keep grains for their food.

  • Donate old books of children to the poor and needy
  • If you have time, you can also teach the children around you.
  • Millions of people are living life in deprivation. There is neither a roof to live in, nor bread for

Noida’s First Plastic Heist to make Noida a plastic free city

HCL Foundation’s Clean Noida Project has achieved many milestones in the last three years of its operations. Through their myriad efforts and endeavours, Noida bagged 1st position as India’s Cleanest Medium City (3-10 Lakh population) in Swachh Survekshan 2021, an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in India.

The Foundation has now launched Plastic Heist Campaign to bring awareness regarding the harmful effects of single-use plastic. As the government planned a ban on most single use plastics, which should be in effect from July 1, 2022; this campaign will educate the masses, mainly shopkeepers, about the responsible use of plastic, and the dangers of overflowing landfills that are full of toxic, non-biodegradable plastic and to encourage people into recycling waste, boycott plastic bags, and microplastic waste that makes its way into the oceans and its harmful presence is felt at different levels of the food chain. The campaign shall continue for six months and through this initiative, HCL Foundation will divert kilos of waste from informal dumpsites.

The Campaign was launched in Sector 18 marketplace of Noida on May 7. The plastic heist campaign was accompanied by an open mic, a street play and will act out the harmful ways plastic affects us, and social experiments to educate the masses and create an impact. Hundreds of visitors gathered to watch the street play that was beautifully conceptualised and explained the harmful effects of plastic. The campaign will continue to other popular market places such as Bharmputra market, Ganga market, Godavari market, and Sector 50 market. The aim of this campaign is to encourage shopkeepers in these marketplaces to stop using plastic. HCLF and Noida Authority will recognize the business owners as Sustainable Businesses for working towards minimizing the hazardous impact on the environment through means of responsible production, consumption, reuse, and recovery of products, packaging, and materials without burning and with no discharges to land, water, or air that threaten the environment or human health.

“I usually come to this marketplace with my friends and was delighted to see such as engaging play and the social message. There are small eateries that use straws and plastic cups and I am sure this will bring in awareness to a more biodegradable change,” said Ritika, a college student.

To make sure that the impact of their initiatives lingers, HCL Foundation has also been making wall graffities to amplify the message and educate the public. The foundation shall also be installing air purifier and waste machines to ensure prompt action and the building of a clean city.

“Citizen Engagement is an important part of Swachh Survekshan and of any campaign citizen participation is imperative. Plastic Heist is part of our social experiment to trigger the message of Say-No-To-Plastic and engage with the citizens in a fun way to maximize the impact and encourage a sustainable change in the city,” said Abhishek Saini, Founder of Those In Need, Implementing partner of HCL Foundation.

This campaign is the beginning and going by the previous success of HCLF, we hope the campaign drives a positive and much-needed cleaner change.

Election Commission of India has recognized the Pravasi-led Kerala Pravasi Association (KPA) as a political party

14 May 2022 – Thiruvananthapuram – Kerala – The Kerala Pravasi Association (KPA) formed under the leadership of Pravasi was approved by the Election Commission of India. KPA formed the political party with new ideas to replace the anti-democratic and opportunistic politics of the country’s fronts.

The Election Commission of India has registered Kerala Pravasi Association as a political party under registration number 56/071/2021-2022/PPS-I.

The Kerala Pravasi Association’s entry into politics is under the slogan ‘Self Sufficient and Self Reliant Kerala” through Pravasi’s.

According to government figures for 2020, 18 million people from India live outside the country. India has the highest number of expatriates in the UAE (3.5 million), the USA (2.7 million), and Saudi Arabia (2.5 million). Australia, Canada, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, and the United Kingdom are among the countries hosting Indian immigrants, according to a report by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. According to the World Bank, remittances from expatriate Indians to India in 2021 were $ 87 billion.  If we take people who are working or living in other states into consideration, the expatriate community (Pravasi’s) makes up about ten percent or more of India’s population.  Pravasi Indians whether they are living in other states or outside India are neglected by the Governments and mainstream political parties at all stages, and they are severely exploited, rights are denied, etc.

Kerala, which has no large-scale industries or large sources of financial income, has been one of the major exporters of human resources from India to other countries or other states for decades. The reality is that the economy of the state is mainly dependent on remittances and expatriate deposits. The expat community, which covers over one-third of the population of Kerala, contributes about 37% of the GDP of Kerala. Hence, Kerala Pravasi Association has started its activities from Kerala.

Rajendran Vellapalath, Chairman of Kerala Pravasi Association (KPA) said; “KPA aims to be the common voice of for all Pravasi Indians irrespective of whether they are living outside of their state or outside of India. We also aim to build a self-sufficient corruption-free New India with the participation of the Pravasi Indians, using their International experience and exposure, work experience, expertise, strength, and enthusiasm to overcome any challenge, etc.

The initial mission of the Kerala Pravasi Association is to implement the NRIs’ vision of 36 key  areas related to the daily lives of the people of Kerala, including poverty alleviation, agriculture, dairy development, elimination of unemployment, infrastructure development (drinking water, housing, health care, etc.),  environmental protection, etc…”

Kerala Pravasi Association does not engage in any form of activities such as bandhs and hartals, destruction of public property, and stagnation of public life as being practiced by other Political Parties in India.

Kerala Pravasi Association functions by forming Panchayat, Municipal, Corporation, District, and State Committees under a 36-member National Council. The party currently has groups in all the local bodies (941 Panchayats, Municipal, Corporations, and 14 Districts) in Kerala.

Through Kerala Pravasi Association’s Website (www.keralapravasiassociation.com), the common people in India including the expatriate community of the country have the opportunity to become active members of the Association by gaining Ordinary Membership and Active Membership from June 1.

KPA is committed to leveraging the knowledge and skills gained from the diaspora, high work culture, advanced technical knowledge, advanced job training, sense of purpose, and dedication to work for the betterment of the country. KPA is committed to implementing the views of expatriates on matters related to the daily lives of the people.

As a first step, Kerala Pravasi Association (KPA) has said that expatriates are not been able to exercise their right to consent and participate in the democratic process by casting votes in their home country as they lead an expatriate life despite being Indian citizens. Kerala Pravasi Association has approached the Supreme Court with the intention of getting Pravasi’s the right to vote.

At the same time, Kerala Pravasi Association has decided to approach the High Court against the negligence of the State Government is not taking a favorable approach in this regard, despite the High Court directing in August 2020 to raise the age limit for membership in the Pravasi Welfare Fund of the State Government to 60 years.

In addition to the above, a recruiting company called pravasijobs.com has already started with the aim of eradicating unemployment of around 40 Lakhs educated youth in the State.  The Kerala Pravasi Association has also decided to organize job fests in different parts of the country as part of promoting pravasijobs.com.

New ventures like keralastartup.com will be launched to find and promote startups from the beginning. Kerala Sree project will be formulated for the empowerment of women. It will implement the necessary schemes to make women self-sufficient.

The Kerala Pravasi Association will now be active in Indian politics as a pressure force before the government on all issues related to Pravasi Indians as well as to raise the issues faced by the common man in India.
