DIL DENA, a heartthrob Punjabi Pop Single in the voice of Darren Reddy has recently been distributed worldwide by LA PRESTIGE Publishing/Record Label. DIL DENA went live on 9^th April 2024. The Label has been inundated with positive feedback from fans to producers and film directors. DIL DENA is said to be a ‘catchy heartthrob love song’ and is gaining popularity steadily. “We have received only positive comments from all over the World. We are indeed very happy to work with Mr Darren Reddy. He has an amazing personality, the right attitude and upholds the global Music Industry with the highest respect,” Says LA PRESTIGE Management. DIL DENA was a project the 33 year old Singer began working on in 2023 with the Label alongside other musical projects. “The collaboration of international artistry gave birth to DIL DENA. The lyricists, producers, Artist management, legal team, investors, musicians, PR and the marketing / distribution team of LA PRESTIGE had crafted a commendable piece of art (DIL DENA) and made me comfortable with the production when performing the song in my own voice for the first time,” says Reddy. The song is a love song based on a Man who is in love with his perception of an ideal Woman and becomes very descriptive about his love for her as well as his infatuated perception of an ‘ideal’ woman he is pursuing.

Darren Reddy, was born in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. His parents are of Telugu and Hindi speaking lineages with their ancestry deriving from India. He started his musical journey at the age of 3. His voice is described as a soft soulful colorful texture with a wide vocal dynamic range based on his versatility of genres. He is known to perform live mostly filmy love songs and Devotional hit songs in mostly Hindi, Thamizh and Telugu. Recently, the Singer has been offered major record / distribution deals and he is considering working with some of the biggest

Labels known to the International Music Industry. “I have been offered some amazing music related opportunities in February and March this year through my dedicated team. It is just a matter of time before the next songs are released which have been finalized in the first quarter of 2024 already,” says the Singer. It has also been reported that a few mainstream international distributors have also joined working with the label LA PRESTIGE, after seeing the Label’s vision, to also expand on global music distribution and Artist development opportunities amongst Indian communities outside of India.

The vibrant Singer is also an eastern percussionist and is well known in KZN, SA for his percussion. Reddy says,

“I owe my music to my parents, my teachers and the audiences whom have followed my music since childhood. They have always been so kind and supportive towards me. Music is a divine art bestowed upon us by birth and should be taken seriously at all times to nurture and preserve its divinity for generations to come. We must not forget that music preserves the very basis of who we are through our culture and this divinity is Godly,” says Reddy.

Darren is a fan of many legendary Singers such as Dr Sonu Nigam, whom has a major influence in Darren’s musical journey, Shreya Ghoshal, Mohd. Rafi, Dr SPB, Dr TMS, Dr KJ Yesudas and Kaushiki Chakraborty. He also grew up listening to legendary classical musicians such Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Allah Rakha, Ojas Adhiya, Pundit Ravi Shankar and multiple Grammy Award Winner Anoushka Shankar. The Singer has an immense passion for instrumental classical music. Reddy attained great inspiration from his idols over the years and uses this as his basis of being an Artist in his era.

Kolkata – The legacy of the legendary Violin Maestro, Rabin Ghosh, is set to be commemorated in a groundbreaking documentary that celebrates his exceptional musical journey and groundbreaking achievements. Rabin Ghosh, the last Violin disciple of Baba Ustad Allauddin Khan Saheb, was not only a masterful musician but also a revered Violin Guru, training countless pupils in the art of classical music.

Independent film director Hreek Mukherjee has taken up the challenge to showcase this extraordinary life through his directorial venture. “We have been fascinated by the life and achievements of Shri Rabin Ghosh and felt that the only way to do justice to retelling this for generations ahead is through a documentary” said Hreek.

Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, Rabin Ghosh was profoundly influenced by the musical atmosphere that surrounded him. With his father, an Engineer and a skilled Flute and Esraj player, Rabin was exposed to various musical instruments from an early age. He explored the realms of Esraj, Flute, and Tabla before ultimately choosing to pursue the Violin. Under the guidance of Pandit Haripada Chattopadhyay, Rabin’s journey into the world of music began.

In the year 1955, Rabin Ghosh’s life took a transformative turn when he became a disciple of the eminent Baba Allauddin Khan Saheb, in the esteemed Maihar tradition. This marked the beginning of his extraordinary contributions to the world of music, leading him to make groundbreaking discoveries and innovations that would leave an indelible mark on Indian Classical Music.

Among Rabin Ghosh’s numerous contributions, he introduced the revolutionary concept of the 5th string Violin in Indian Classical Music, expanding the instrument’s range and melodic possibilities. Furthermore, he designed his own unique Violin, with only seven of these masterpieces ever crafted, signifying their rare and treasured nature.

In a pioneering approach to playing the Violin, Rabin Ghosh invented a distinctive style by placing the violin scroll above the violin case, offering a fresh perspective and sound to the instrument. This innovation showcased his creative genius and further solidified his place as a true musical visionary.

Hailing from the illustrious Senia-Maihar Gharana, Rabin Ghosh was not only an exceptional performer and composer but also a devoted educator. He shared his profound knowledge and expertise with thousands of pupils throughout his career, leaving an enduring impact on the next generation of musicians.

Despite his remarkable achievements, Rabin Ghosh did not always receive the recognition he deserved, and his groundbreaking work faced attempts at appropriation. However, his influence and legacy remain steadfast, continuing to inspire countless musicians and music enthusiasts around the world.

In celebration of Rabin Ghosh’s extraordinary musical journey, a dedicated team has spent a decade crafting a documentary that delves deep into the life, accomplishments, and enduring impact of this iconic maestro. American rap music video depicts Mahatma Gandhi bombing Taj Mahal, joining ISIS, carrying guns, and committing suicide in various ways.

July 31, 2023 — Satyameva Jayate, a global human rights organization dedicated to upholding and advancing the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, has strongly condemned the recent depiction of Mahatma Gandhi in a music video by American rapper Big Baby Gandhi and Kanye West AI. The organization is urgently appealing to YouTube for the immediate removal of the “War With The Matrix” music video and is advocating for sanctions against the artists responsible for the hateful anti-Hindu content.

In the “War With The Matrix” video, Kanye West is portrayed with Mahatma Gandhi engaged in acts such as smoking marijuana, attempting suicide in various forms, carrying rifles, posing with ISIS militants, destroying cultural heritage by burning down the Taj Mahal, and participating in Nazi-inspired book burning. In a video entitled “1515”, the creator of “War With The Matrix” makes statements such as “ISIS is my crew” and “my government name is Osama bin Laden,” seeming to openly endorse terrorist ideologies.

Satyameva Jayate has taken issue with these troubling portrayals, stating that they are not only factually incorrect and disrespectful, but dangerous. Founder Dr. Satyanarayana Iyer said: “These statements and violent imagery are tarnishing the legacy of non-violence Gandhi stood for. In an era where misinformation can spread like wildfire, adhering to the truth is a potent tool for maintaining social cohesion and trust. The practice of satyagraha, insistence upon truth, urges us to champion transparency and honesty in our daily interactions and larger societal discourses.”

The organization has invoked the recent outrage sparked by the Hollywood film ‘Oppenheimer’ which includes a depiction of a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, the sacred Hindu scripture, being recited during a sex scene. Quoting Uday Mahurkar, founder of Save Culture Save India (SCSI), Dr. Iyer has stated: “This is a direct assault on the peaceful existence of a billion tolerant Hindus. It amounts to waging a war on the Hindu community and almost appears to be part of a larger conspiracy by anti-Hindu forces.”

The organization has therefore issued an appeal to YouTube and other platforms that host the “War With The Matrix” video to remove the video immediately. While advocating for freedom of expression, Satyameva Jayate stated that this should not extend to content that promotes violence, endorses terrorism, or tramples upon the legacy of the icon of global peace, Mahatma Gandhi.

The organization has also issued a statement that: “All who value peace, non-violence, and mutual respect must join us in demanding the removal of this abomination from all media platforms. Collective action can help preserve the true legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and continue to promote the values he dedicated his life to uphold.”
